This weekend was Adoptathon Weekend at the Petsmart in Glen Carbon. Thirty five of our rescues, 18 dogs and 17 cats, found new homes. What a great weekend! Thanks to all who helped make it a success. We were the lead adoption group at Glen Carbon which means Petsmart gave us a $1000.00 grant to rent the tent, provide food for the volunteers and buy some new crates for us to use at adoptions. Besides Adoptathon we were also at the Troy Fest which was also very nice. The following dogs were adopted this weekend: Stuart, Boss, Chilli, Bruce, Nea, Duchess, Lucy, Brentwood, Major, Monk, Perro, Corrine, Liam, Neely (Matts' foster), Charles Bronson, Artis, Cosmo and Trudy. The kitties going home were: DuPont, Teeter, Cream, Speckles, Meesha, Skylar, Huggy, Cashmere, Moxy, Geprge, Tayla, Princess, Baby, Smiley, Precious, Valerie, and George.
