Adoption weekend at Glen Carbon Petsmart was good with 14 dogs and cats geting new homes. Dogs adopted were: Dunes, Abiko, Beemer, Hetty, and Audi. The cats beat the dogs out with Josie, Miami, Dayton, Huggy, Madison, Maya, Lilly, Peekaboo, and Jose going home. Saturday evening we took some dogs and went to the YMCA Hoe Down in Edwardsville. No adoptions but a nice evening with all the kids. The dogs had a great time with them. Big thank you to all the volunteers that helped out both days and at the Hoe Down.
This coming weekend we will be at the Belleville Petsmart on Sat. and Glen Carbon on Sunday. On Sat. we will be at the Troy Veterninary Clinic for their Grand opening at 616 Edwardsville Road in Troy from 10 AM til 2 PM. Come by and say hi.DON'T FORGET THE 5K WALK/RUN IN THIS SUNDAY AT 10:00 AM AT TROY PARK. ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT THE RESCUES WITH OUR SHELTER. YOU CAN SIGN UP AT THE PARK BEFORE THE RUN.
