On this Thanksgiving this is what I am thankful for with P4P.
-a great family that supports my passion.
-wonderful people that are willing to volunteer their precious time, believe in helping the animals and work together to help the animals at our shelter.
-foster homes that are willing to open up their homes to help rescue an animal. It saves two lives-one at the shelter and one waiting at the pound.
-people who are willing to donate their hard earned money to help the animals at our shelter.
-Vets at Horseshoe Lake Animal Hospital and St. Louis Veterinary Center that are generous and give their time and expertise at a very reduced price.
-the great staff at the vet clinics for their help, support and kindness to our rescues.
-Animal Control staff that work with us to rescue animals and do their best with an overwhelming problem.
-being healthy enough that I can still clean the shelter on my hands and knees.
-having a shelter to keep our rescues safe.
-Nev, Barb and Sarah that do a great job at the shelter.
-being able to really help a sick or injured animal that would have died.
-being able to see a terrified, biting animal turn into a sweet adopted pet.
-when the going gets tough being able to realize it's about the animals.
-really great friends that I have met in rescue.
