The Rusty Chair

This portly beagle masquerading as a plump pillow is none other than Rusty.  We had Rusty for many, many months. On adoption days he would stand at the door waiting patiently to go.  Every week we would hoist him into the van for yet another trip to Petsmart adoptions.  No luck.  One day another dog at the shelter bit Rusty and caused a tear in his neck.  We had a terrible time getting it to heal and then it got ripped open again.  Due to his roly poly neck we had a terrible time getting it to heal and Dr. W had to restitch the area.  Finally it was fixed. We all felt so sad for Rus.  He was such a good dog and so sweet.  Why no home?  After many months of waiting he finally got his wish.  I guess he was waiting for the perfect home and looks like he got it.  Thanks to his new family for the great photo.  Way to go Rusty!!
