This is Remi. We adopted her on the day of your grand opening in Collinsville (look back your picture of her with my boys by the fire hydrant )
My oldest son was terrified of dogs on the day we adopted her, but Remi's calm personality has helped him get over his fear.
I have been meaning to tell you this story for some time, and your recent call for picture of your adopted Partner's Pets has prompted me to send you this.
I believe that Remi saved my youngest son's life. She got me and my husband up one night when my youngest had choked in his sleep and was not breathing. She is normally a very quiet dog, so when she barked emphatically at 10:00 pm we followed her to his room where my son was laying flat on his back not making a sound. I turned him over and he coughed up what was in his throat and then cried. It was a very scary couple of minutes and I do not know how Remi knew, but she did. We are very grateful to have her - thank you.
She is a guardian Angel and she has earned her wings.
