Douglas came in a hot mess when Nev pulled him from the pound. He was in sorry shape so we just had to get him! He got a new hair cut and looked so much better but something just wasn't right. Dr. Mollet examined him last week and found his teeth in terrible condition but wasn't sure if Douglas was up for a dental. After a week of antibiotics it was now or never. He hasn't been able to eat much and the smell was dreadful. Dr. Jacob and staff worked on his teeth today and you can see what a terrible mess they were. There was also a lot of infection with pockets of infection under the teeth. Douglas was left with 6 teeth. Hopefully now with the teeth removed and the infection cleared he will perk up.
